[M21 in IR, 2MASS]

The open cluster Messier 21, infrared photograph from the 2MASS Atlas. Field size is 22.0' x 25.0'. The image was created from data collected with the 2MASS telescopes in Arizona and Chile. False colors were created by mapping different IR wavelength bands to colors, with the warmest, shortest wavelengths to blue and the coolest, longest waves to red.
