Open cluster M34 as photographed in July 1996 with the Burrell Schmidt telescope of Case Western Reserve University's Warner and Swasey Observatory, on Kitt Peak near Tucson, Arizona. This approximately true-color picture was created using BVR colors, from images obtained during the REU program. Image size is 34.6 arc minutes.
