[M58, KPNO]

Barred spiral galaxy M58 in the Virgo Cluster as photographed with the 0.9-m telescope of the Kitt Peak National Observatory. This galaxy is often classified as intermediate between "normal" and barred spiral, or SABc, because its bar is not too prominent. This color CCD image was obtained in April, 1998.
